Our work

Every year, billions of animals in the EU are kept in cramped, unnatural conditions that cause them terrible suffering. And in Europe, the laws meant to protect them are outdated and don’t reflect what science – and citizens – now requires.

At the same time, the way we produce food is harming the planet. Animal farming is responsible of 80% of European agricultural emissions, driving pollutions, climate change and biodiversity loss. Shifting toward more plant-based, sustainable diets is critical.

We work to make this transformation happen – by pushing for better laws, supporting farmers in transition, and making sure EU decisions truly protect animals, people, and the environment.
