The European Vegan Summit 2025 held online, is an annual event, a key gathering that brings together policymakers, industry leaders and civil society actors to explore the future of sustainable food systems.
This year’s summit offered a rich agenda, addressing critical themes such as innovation in plant-based products, the transition to fairer and more sustainable markets, and the role of policy in driving systemic change.
Olga Kikou participated in the panel discussion The True Cost: Hidden Expenses of Shopping in Retail Chains, contributing insights and addressing the externalities that current food systems impose – on animals, on the environment, on public health and on workers.
Events such as the Vegan Summit are invaluable platforms for dialogue. They not only foster cross-sector collaboration but also ensure that questions of sustainability, fairness, and transparency remain at the forefront of public and policy debate.
We are proud to have joined this important conversation and look forward to continuing to engage with partners across Europe to build food systems that serve people, animals and the planet.
