We were pleased to participate in the Plant Food Summit 2025 in Copenhagen, an important gathering of policymakers, researchers, farmers and industry leaders from across Europe committed to shaping the future of sustainable food systems in Europe.
The event brought together a wide range of perspectives, from policy and science to entrepreneurship and farming, all contributing complementary insights on how to promote plant-based food systems in an inclusive and efficient way. Among the examples highlighted, Denmarkâs proactive approach and government support for plant-based initiatives served as a valuable source of inspiration for other European stakeholders.
The Summit provided an engaging platform for dialogue and exchange, underlining the growing momentum behind plant-based solutions as a key component of a sustainable European food future. We strongly support EU-level action which is key to implement the shift toward more sustainable, fair, plant-based food systems, as we advocate in the Blueprint for an EU Action Plan for Plant-Based Foods.
AAFT welcomes the growing political and societal attention to plant-based foods and looks forward to continuing the dialogue with European and national stakeholders to advance this shared agenda.
